The Sum Of All Inputs.

"Design Should Add Up.

—before refinement, before reduction, before decisions are made.  Good design doesn’t start by ruling things out; it starts by taking everything in. Beauty, psychology, engineering, human nature—the need to belong, to emote, to see ourselves in the objects we create and surround ourselves with. Only after embracing the full complexity of possibility can we refine, distill, and shape something that is both precise and deeply human."

Matt Gross

Founder,

Principal Design Engineer

Matt’s work sits at the intersection of precision and possibility. With a background in industrial design, engineering, and hands-on prototyping, he’s spent over a decade turning ideas into real, tangible products—whether it’s a next-gen medical device, a modular furniture system, or a telecommunications hub built for the field.

Raised with infinite curiosity and a maker’s mindset, Matt has always been drawn to the way things work—and more importantly, how they could work better. He’s invented and contributed to patented technologies, designed and engineered tools used in clinics nationwide, and developed hardware solutions for some of the world’s most recognized brands.

But for him, design isn’t just about function—it’s about experience, about the way people interact with and see themselves reflected in the things they use every day.

From aerospace concepts to human-centered products, his work is driven by the belief that good design starts with complexity and ends in nuance.
