Lighting Concept
This lighting project is an ongoing effort. The process is still in the moderately early stage, as I am still ideating through different forms.
I use both rapid sketching, technical drawing, and 3D CAD modeling to explore divergent concepts. As some form factors begin to coalesce in to more compelling forms, I compile them into models to simulate the crucial aspect of the design: light emission.
The Glass Half Full

My design ideations revealed the opportunity to create a cylindrical lighting element that conveys an aesthetic similar to a glass that is endlessly pouring golden light. This observation has led me to my “Molten” conceptualizations. I’m currently exploring form factors that integrate this aesthetic into a more harmonious visual balance.The project is ongoing.
